Light green fill = wet day (above threshold set via 🌧️ button)
Darker green fill = 5 mm or more precipitation
About the Data
Future dates use Open-Meteo's Best Match forecast. Recent past dates normally use Open-Meteo Historical Forecast, which combines the initial hours of successive operational model runs. These values incorporate observations through model initialization but are not measurements at the selected point.
Ten-year comparisons use Open-Meteo Historical Weather reanalysis, normally ERA5-Land for a consistent year-to-year baseline. Reanalysis combines observations with numerical models to estimate conditions across a complete grid.
Recent history and ten-year averages use different model products and may have different biases. Comparisons are intended to provide practical context rather than measurement-grade climate anomalies. A ten-year average is not a formal 30-year climate normal.
Precipitation includes rain and the liquid-water equivalent of frozen precipitation. Local rain gauges may differ, especially during thunderstorms or in complex terrain.
Wet Day Threshold
Set the minimum daily precipitation required to count as a wet day. Days at or below this amount are not highlighted or counted.
